Join us on the shores of Lake Erie for Tall Ships® Fairport Harbor 2016. It’s a rare chance to catch a glimpse, step aboard, and even set sail on some of the grandest ships of yore. The Fairport Harbor Heritage Foundation bringing you Tall Ships® Fairport Harbor. Fairport Harbor will be one of only a handful of Great Lakes ports that will host the prestigious TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE®. Tall Ships® Fairport Harbor 2016 promises to be the largest event in our region’s history featuring ship tours, day sails, educational programming, food and beverage, entertainment and fun for the entire family!

This year, we have partnered with The Fairport Harbor Heritage Foundation to bring you an event within an event! At Tall Ships® Fairport Harbor 2016, you’ll be able to see quality art vendors that you’re used to seeing at Art in the Park; offering an opportunity to purchase gallery quality art work.

Tall Ships® Fairport Harbor 2016 takes place rain or shine. No ticket refunds or exchanges. Tickets are non-transferable. Your ticket does not guarantee access to all ships at all times. Prices include all applicable fees and taxes.

Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. No cans, bottles, coolers, beverages or pets (except service animals) allowed at Tall Ships® Fairport Harbor. No alcohol may be brought to the event. Backpacks are NOT allowed; large handbags and purses may be inspected at the entrance. No glass, fireworks, firearms, or any other suspicious materials are allowed into the gates. Staff will not hold items at the gate. Admittance will be denied if clothing is considered offensive, disruptive or unsuitable.

Tripping hazards are unavoidable aboard sailing vessels and the highest degree of care is expected of all visitors. Proper footwear must be worn by all boarding a ship (rubber sole shoes, sneakers or boat shoes). Leather sole shoes are dangerous and slippery. Absolutely no spike heels permitted on board. Food (including gum) and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not permitted on ships without prior arrangement. Handrails must be used when boarding and departing. Visitors may not run, jump or bounce on the gangways or deck. Visitors may not climb aloft in the rigging under any circumstances. The Ships have limited accessibility to those with physical disabilities.

No Weapons. Pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code 2923, no person shall knowingly possess, have under the person's control, convey, or attempt to convey a deadly weapon, or dangerous ordinance onto these premises.
A valid license does not authorize the licensee to carry a weapon onto these premises.
